blinkx among top ten online brands

Video search engine blinkx has been ranked a top ten online brand for the first time by influential market researchers The Nielsen Company.

blinkx joins YouTube and Yahoo in the list of the most influential online brands, after growing significantly in 2009.

In the last year, blinkx’s total number of video streams increased by 12%.

With a library of 35 million hours of audio and video content, the San Francisco and London-based company is one of the largest online resources for virals and user-generated-content.
