The IVA library includes over 500,000 videos from over 1,000 sources. Contributing movie studios include Warner Bros, Paramount, and MGM. Game publishers include Nintendo, Capcom, and Namco.

Internet Video Archive is known as a leading source of entertainment video samples. The company runs two consumer sites: videodetective.com and singingfool.com.

In all, blinkx has indexed more than 35 million hours of video and audio content.

“Internet Video Archive is a veritable treasure trove of video for film buffs, music lovers, and gamers,” says Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO of blinkx. “This partnership greatly expands blinkx’s ever popular entertainment index, and will help us deliver an even better experience for our audience.”
