blinkx, KoldCast TV In Video Partnership

Global video search engine Blinkx has reached a partnership with international TV network KoldCast TV that will give its users access to premium internet TV series, short films and documentaries.

Through the partnership, blinkx will leverage its AdHoc platform to place contextually relevant advertising against the new videos and share resulting revenue with KoldCast TV.

KoldCast’s programming library spans more than 225 original series across every genre including family-friendly, kids, sci-fi, thrillers and comedies. Top shows include Stuck: The Chronicles of David Rea, Hipsterhood, Malice, Clutch, Ruby Skye P.I. and The Marriage Counselor.

“Whether through connected TV’s and mobile devices or our relationships with broadcast and cable TV networks, we are always seeking out new ways to reach the broadest possible audience with the shows we are so proud of,” says KoldCast TV chief executive David Samuels.

“blinkx, already known for featuring professionally produced content from across the Web, is a natural fit for furthering our online distribution,” adds Samuels. “Its advanced search capabilities will allow fans of particular series or genres to easily discover the kind of shows they will love.”
